Lori was rescued from the Stockton animal shelter by long time Fat Kitty City volunteer Margrit. Lori, probably about 2 to 3 years old, had been picked up as an abandoned kitty at a closed gas station.
Lori was transfered to Fat Kitty City and then sent to PetSmart to hopefully find her a home. For a month Lori stayed in her cage at PetSmart, desperately reaching out to people who came to look at the kitties, yet no one adopted her. Soon Lori seemed to give up and rarely reached out to anyone. Until one Sunday when someone came up to her cage and started talking to her. She reached out to him, but then turned away, figuring he wasn't going to pick her either. But this was her lucky day!
Lori is now called Lucy and is slowly adjusting to her new home and her new siblings, Fred and LuLu. She is a sweet, quiet kitty who has found her Forever Home!
