Fred wandered into the backyard of Agee volunteer Susan Kelly several years ago. A friendly Tom, but not yet neutered, Susan took him to the vet to take care of that and Fred continued to visit her yard from time to time.
On one return visit, Fred's left eye was injured and he was hospitilized at the vet's office for several weeks. Unfortunately his eye had to be removed. Fred finally came back home, where he was a big love bug and couch potato at Susan's house. As a one eyed cat, it was no longer safe for him to go outside, so he easily became an inside cat
Cindy found a family where she thought that Fred might have a chance at a truly wonderful home. The first time Fred met his new person, he jumped up in his new person's lap and that was that. Fred had found his Forever Home!
