Marv and Serj

I feel so blessed to have these kitties; MO (male) and MARLEY (female) - Marv and Serj. They are so loving and I have had the fortune to be home with them everyday the last 6 weeks. They love to be held like babies and sometimes just sleep in my arms. I guess that is what bottle babies do. I am so thankful for the volunteers that took care of my babies. The numerous hours of love and attention can never be repaid. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Mo and Marley have been a blessing and have helped with the healing of my knee fracture and my heart after losing my dear Monty after 17 years. Thanks for saving so many animals lives and giving us the blessing of having them in our lives. You and your organizaition are truly ANGELS!

Thank you for what you do, and for bringing my babies and me together.

Lucky

On September 11, 2011, I was minding my own business when I saw a dog that you had for adoption. It was Lucky (German/Lab mix), I fell in love with him the moment I saw him. It was my husband's birthday that day and he had really wanted a dog, so I acted. I was so excited to bring Lucky home and surprise my husband, boy was he surprised! My husband instantly fell in love with Lucky as well. Lucky has fit right in with our cats, yes he does occasionally chase them but the cats need their exercise. I have attached a couple of pictures for youLucky to see how he is growing, we could have not asked for a better dog. My husband and I want to thank you for allowing us to love such a sweet animal.

Liam's Happily Ever After!

Liam

Just a short note to let you know that I am sooooo HAPPY!! I have won the Kitty Lottery for sure! My new family: Margaret, Carter, Shawn and Shawn are the best ever!! We live in a really big house that I have so much fun exploring and have made my own kingdom. I have lots of fun toys and kitty furniture to play in. My favorite is my brown grocery bag though! I pretend it is my secret lair and hide from my unsuspecting victims that I pounce on as they walk by! I get lots of great food and tons of love. So much so that I have to nap often to regain my strength. My new mommy Margaret works from home so she is with me all day. I help her in the office as you can see in this picture. I protect her from the computer mouse too, to keep her safe...even if she is busy trying to get work done. I have a new big sister kitty already in the house. She is a little upset I took over part of her domain and doesn't want to play nice but each day I show her how incredibly sweet I am and I am certain I will win her over. Thank you for all the great care you provided me in my first many weeks. Thank you especially to Susan for babysitting me while my new family got my house all ready!

Love, Liam, AKA "King Liam"

p.s. my new family really are the ones that won the kitty lottery!!

Mini Me aka Steve Nash

Just thought I'd drop you a line to say that "Steve Nash" (aka "Mini Me") is doing very well. Thank you and your organization for a wonderful cat. He's a pleasure to have in our lives. He goes outdoors on most early afternoons, and he is remarkable in that he always comes running whenever we call his name. He "comes" better and faster than our dog does! He RUNS to us at full speed! And he will tag along when we take the dog for walk. The dog and cat are best friends and they play and sleep together every night. They are just the cutest together! All in all, Steve is really, one of the coolest cats I've ever met!

Willy

WILLY started his stay at Fat Kitty City emaciated and in very guarded health. Now he is healthy and happy and has found his forever home! According to his new family," Willie is one happy kitty, I think. He hasn't stopped purring since he got here, and Sharon and he already seem to have a very close bond. Yes, he's a talker, but one of my cats is much louder than he, if you can believe it. Willy is one laid-back dude!"

Cheri and I speak often and very highly of the absolute wonderful home and care provided at Fat Kitty City. We always say we need to come and visit the gang, life just gets in the way sometimes. We are so happy and honored to be able to give a little to Fat Kitty City each month. We are blessed to share our lives with BLOSSOM and HONEY, they bring such happiness and entertainment to us each and every day. We have hundreds of photos of them but I will only attach a few. :) :) :) Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to helpless creatures. I'm sure if they could let you know how much they appreciate you caring for them, you would be covered in kisses, well maybe more like licks. :)

Destiny's Happily Ever After

Destiny's Happliy Ever After

Two days after taking Destiny into her home to recuperate, Fat Kitty City volunteer Cindi knew that Destiny was destined to be a member of her family. Cindi says, "I was sitting on the sofa and she was climbed up on me and wrapped her little paws around my neck. She has the sweetest little meow and becomes a little rag doll when I bathe her. Today, Destiny is a chubby, happy girl who loves to sleep in a laundry basket (full of clean clothes) so I keep blankets and towels in it for her. She may always be a little wobbly, from whatever happened to her before she came to Fat Kitty City, but she is able to jump up onto my bed now and her little clomp when she walks is just too cute. She has definitely found her furrrever home!"

Zula

"We adopted ZULA on Aug 20 and love her dearly. She is getting along great with our dog and two cats. Please know she is spoiled rotten. Took her to the vet yesterday for her feline luekemia shot & distemper booster. She is fearless! Thank you"

Pippa

"PIPPA loves her new home....and we love her too. Aubrey and Pippa snuggling....although Pippa's sound asleep."

Bogie and Bear

"Here are BOGIE and BEAR. Remember we adopted Bogie last December and Bear was adopted from you in 2007. Finally they get along! We love them both very much and we are so lucky because they love us. Thank you for allowing us to bring them into our hearts and home."

Magic and Pumpkin

"MAGIC and PUMPKIN are both so sweet.  They were 18 weeks yesterday. And no you can not have them back, these cats will live a long happy life."

She fits right in with us and we love her so very much. She truly is the perfect cat and we couldn't imagine our life without her!! She is my baby girl and she is beyond a happy cat!!!

Jasper

JASPER had his first birthday on April 17th. We have had him for 10 months now and he is still such a joy to have in our family. He has turned into quite a mouser and is always proud of his daily catch (which he brings to me of course). He loves his two brothers Lex Luthor and Jimmy Olsen. They are the Three Musketeers of our house. At night when they are all inside it sounds like thunder throughout the house from their running and chasing one another. Our old female cat Lucifer (trust me the name suits) has even opened up and plays with Jasper also. I have had cats my entire life and there is truly something special about him and we are so blessed to have him in our lives. We cannot thank you enough for what you do and for saving such wonderful kitty like Jasper for us to have.

Hamburglar

We just wanted to let you know that HAMBURGLAR is so happy in his new home. He had a bath and ate as soon as he got home. He has been busy exploring the house, meeting the other kitties and sleeping all day. He is so sweet, friendly and easy going, he is a wonderful addition to our family. As you can tell, he has made himself right at home!

Buddy

I wanted to share a recent photo of BUDDY. Here he is with his favorite stuffed animal we call bear, even though it is an elephant. Buddy is GREAT!

Yoda

Yoda’s Story:

Yoda has a big head. No, not that he is egotistical or anything like that, but he was born with hydrocephalus, or water on the brain. The result was a dome shaped hard head, much larger than normal for a cute little Bengal kitten. He also has a little trouble getting around and, well, the truth is that Yoda is just a little slow in his reactions. According to those so-called experts, Yoda should not have lived past 3 or 4 weeks of age, but Yoda wasn’t listening to them. He had bigger plans for his future.

After a few trips to PetSmart, Yoda patiently waited for his forever home. A family came by and saw Yoda and fell in love. They didn’t care that he had a big head. They recognized his sweet and loving personality and just knew that he would be a perfect fit in their home.

Now Yoda is known as Squeaker Snyder-McClain and he loves his new family and life. He takes care of them by hunting down and killing every spider that dares to come into his home.
