Foster Application

Foster for Fat Kitty City

The Fat Kitty City Humane Society foster program is designed to give kittens and cats individualized care and socialization to prepare them for adoption. Foster parent volunteers are needed to take care of these animals for an amount of time, providing the daily care, feeding and administration of any needed medicine during that period. The animal(s) remain the property of Fat Kitty City Humane Society and when the animal(s) are ready for adoption, they are brought back to Fat Kitty City Humane Society for a check‐up and placement. If you think you might be interested in fostering, please take the time to fill out the following questionnaire:

Please read the following terms/conditions if you are willing to accept an animal under the Fat Kitty City.org Foster Program.
A. To assume all responsibility for the animal’s well‐being. To provide humane care and treatment. To contact Fat Kitty City Humane Society immediately if cat appears to develop any health problems. The animals will be in my custody ONLY.
B. To comply with all state and local laws and ordinances relating to the keeping and care of animals.
C. To assume all responsibility for any damage caused by the animal(s) directly or indirectly.
D. I understand that Agee Rescue.org will take every precaution to ensure that the animal(s) that I foster is reasonably healthy and that any known health problems will be disclosed to me. However, Fat Kitty City.org cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen health problem that may develop once the animal(s) is in my care.
E. I fully understand that the animal(s) described below is/are still the property of Fat Kitty City.org. A refusal to return the animal(s) or any method of disposal of the animal(s) may result in criminal prosecution, to the fullest degree against me.
F. I hereby agree to indemnity, and hold harmless Fat Kitty City.org, from any and all liability arising out of or in consequence of, or injury sustained as a result of any activity connected with volunteering for Fat Kitty City.org as a foster home.

I have read, understand and agree to the above. By signing this, I agree to abide by all its provisions. A representative from Fat Kitty City.org may investigate the premises where the animal is kept, and reclaim the animal(s), if for any reason the animal(s) is not being cared for properly, or if I have not complied with this agreement, or misrepresented any facts on this agreement application.
